Time sure flies when you’re having fun, but it seems to go quicker when you’re a Dad, and especially a
grandfather, Pop Corky! My twin grandsons turned two recently and we celebrated in style in the traditional kid type fashion: ice-cream, cupcakes, presents, games, playground, bubbles, all with a big group of our family and friends.
Joseph and Benjamin are twins, but they couldn’t be more different. Joseph is actually named after me and his baby pictures are pretty darn close to looking just like my mug, minus the mustache. He might look like a Coker, but he definitely acts like his Dad: he’s easy-going, and he’s got an engineer mind… already figuring out how to build things, take stuff apart and put it together. Maybe we have a little car builder on our hands!
Benjamin on the other hand looks like a Cunningham, named after who I like to call my Grandpa-in-law (Greg’s Dad), but definitely acts just like my daughter, Casey did, when she was a kid: hyper! Benjamin can’t sit still for more than 2 seconds, is always on the move, enjoys being around people, and getting attention. Looks like we have our car driver!
So there you have it: a race-car team in the makings: a builder and a driver at the age of two!
